NO WINNER YET IN TIGHT CAPE MAY MAYORAL RACE

Who’s going to be the next mayor of Cape May?  We really don’t know yet.  A very close election in Cape May Tuesday evening as challenger Russell Chew defeated incumbent Mayor Ed Mahaney by two slim votes, 547 to 545.  Other ballots are being counted up in Cape May and it is possible that this election could be headed to a recount.
