New Jersey State Senator Tom Kean Jr. will not run for a United States Senate seat. Kean announced this week that he will take a pass running for the Senate seat currently held by Senator Cory Booker. State Senator Michael Doherty appears to be the most likely candidate to challenge Booker for a six year term in Washington come November.
