Would you turn down a pay increase three years in a row? That’s what Atlantic Cape Community College President Peter Mora did after meeting with his evaluation committee. The ACCC Board of Trustees announced on Tuesday that the college president would not accept a pay raise due to “prevailing economic conditions in the state that have led to uncertainty regarding future funding”. Mora received an excellent rating on his job performance. His annual salary is nearly $180,000 plus benefits and a car allowance.
