No polar bear plunges around here anytime soon. The ocean temperature off Atlantic City Wednesday evening was 83.3 degrees, which hits an all time record high. That temperature was reached at the marina Wednesday evening, which breaks the previous all time record of 83.1 degrees. Water temperatures are about 11 degrees higher than at this time last summer.
