There will be no expansion coming soon to the West Cape May Elementary School. The West Cape May Board of Education met last week and decided not to pursue a building addition at the school due to the estimated tax impact was more than the Board was willing to present. The building is 53 years old and the Board wants to have an improvement with no impact on the local tax rate. The next Board meeting will be held on February 9th.
