There are four Republicans running for three seats in Lower Township, but no Democrats filed before the deadline. The 4 p.m. deadline on Monday came and went, and no one filed before the deadline. The only contested primary will be in the 3rd ward between Brian McEwing, who has the Lower Township Republican Party support, and Glenn Douglass, who is the incumbent. Tom Conrad and Erik Simonsen will be running in the 1st and 2nd ward respectively.
