NO CHARGES AGAINST BRIDGETON COPS IN POLICE SHOOTING

No criminal charges will be filed against two Bridgeton police officers who were involved in the fatal shooting of a suspect last year. The Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office announced today that no charges will be brought against the cops who fatally shot Jerame Reid during a traffic stop on December 30th, 2014. The officers warned Reid to remain in the passenger seat of the car, then fired at least six shots at him when he stepped out of the car.
