NO BALLOT QUESTION THIS YEAR ON EXPANDING GAMING OUTSIDE OF ATLANTIC CITY

Atlantic City casinos will have another year to avoid additional competition of North Jersey casinos. Senate President Steve Sweeney confirmed this week that there won’t be a ballot question this year on expanding casino gaming outside of Atlantic City. A deadline has come and gone to introduce a bill to get it on this year’s ballot. Its very possible it could end up on the ballot next year though as some North Jersey lawmakers work on the bill.
