North Wildwood City Council announced that the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection has approved the Community Forestry and Vegetation Management Plans of the city. These plans will serve as the regulatory standards for the planting, removal and maintenance of all trees and vegetation on public property within the City of North Wildwood, including the beach and dune system. The approval comes with a monetary award from the D.E.P. of $3000 to offset the costs incurred for creating the plans, from a Green Communities Grant that was awarded to the City in March of 2015.
