NJ Transit will be inspecting about 260 railroad bridges of their Atlantic City Rail Line for structural integrity. A contract for the work is expected to be awarded this month with the work to be completed by November 2013. These regularly scheduled safety inspections occur every five years. The Atlantic City rail line runs from the Atlantic City Convention Center to 30th Street Station in Philadelphia at a cost of about $10 for a one-way ticket.
