NJ SPORTS BETTING ISSUE BACK IN COURT ON TUESDAY

On Tuesday attorneys representing New Jersey will present more arguments for legalizing sports betting in the state before the Third U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Philadelphia. They will face attorneys from the four major professional sports leagues and the NCAA, arguing that language in a ruling from 2013 gives New Jersey the legal authority to allow sports gambling. State officials have battled to get legalized sports gambling for the past 2 1/2 years.
