On Monday, the New Jersey Senate failed to come up with enough votes to override Governor Christie’s veto of funding for women’s health clinics throughout the state. The lack of state funding will force cutbacks and closures of clinics in Millville, Bridgeton and Atlantic City. The vote went strictly along party lines, as female lawmakers pledged to find the $7.5 million cut by the governor elsewhere in the budget.
