NJ LOSES ALMOST 14,000 JOBS IN JULY

Huge amounts of jobs were lost in July but the unemployment rate went down. New unemployment numbers were released and New Jersey lost 13,600 jobs, despite the unemployment going down from 6.1 percent to 5.9 percent. The state’s unemployment rate is still lagging behind the national average of 5.3 percent.
