The New Jersey League of Municipalities conference in Atlantic City is in the books, and officials spent the final day on Thursday discussing the state’s economy, and recovery from Hurricane Sandy. Tax assessors throughout the state talked about ways to attract new building and construction to New Jersey, which creates new taxable properties. Some properties were wiped off the tax rolls in Central New Jersey during last year’s hurricane.
