With the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, people are concerned about their seafood. A press conference is being held today by the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce to make sure people know that the state’s seafood is still in good shape. New Jersey’s seafood retail and import/export industry has annual sales in excess of $2 billion and accounts for 1,561 full-time jobs in processing and wholesaling in 2008, according to the Department of Commerce.
