A man who served time for abusing cats in New Jersey is under investigation for animal cruelty in Delaware. According to the The Wilmington News Journal, Anthony Appolonia moved to Dover after serving five years in prison for torturing and killing 19 kittens and cats he got through newspaper ads. The report says that six Delaware residents are concerned because they gave him cats and kittens after he responded to their newspaper ads for adoption. Appolonia’s activities are currently under investigation by the Delaware Attorney General’s Office.
