NJ ASSEMBLY SPEAKER VISITS ATLANTIC CITY

New Jersey Assembly Speaker Vincent Prieto will address the Professional Firefighters Association of New Jersey at their convention in Atlantic City on Thursday. This is the first visit by Prieto to the resort since Gov. Christie signed a revised rescue package that gives Atlantic City 150 days to develop a five-year fiscal plan. A state takeover of the resort would nullify any contract between the city and it’s firefighters.
