The NextGen technology park, known for years of delays and mismanagement, has a new name and a new partner. On Wednesday the board of Stockton College approved a three-year agreement to make the park an auxiliary organization and supplement it’s operating expenses. The facility will now be called the Stockton Aviation Research and Technology Park, located on the grounds of the FAA’s William Hughes Tech Center in EHT. The move is expected to create 2,000 jobs in a new 400,000 square foot office project that will conduct research on aviation issues.
