The latest Rutgers-Eagleton poll released on Tuesday finds that New Jersey voters do not see Gov. Christie as a good fit for president. According to the poll only 24 percent think Christie would be a good president, while 69 percent said he would not, a 10-point increase in the governor’s negative rating since a February poll. Regarding Christie winning the Republican nomination, 44 percent of voters said the governor’s chances have worsened over the past few months, while 46 percent said they are about the same.
