A 39 year-old Newark man was sentenced to 30 years in prison for robbing five women at gunpoint in Atlantic City in 2014. Rahime Adams pleaded guilty to robbing five women, who he followed from the Resorts Casino Hotel and forced his way into their hotel room at The Knights Inn on Pacific Avenue. Once inside, Adams forced the women to surrender their cash as he brandished a semi-automatic handgun. Adams was arrested three days after the theft, which totaled about $700.
