Atlantic County Prosecutor Ted Housel
Sentencing was handed down on Thursday in an aggravated manslaughter case. Luis Martinez, of Newark, was sentenced to 12 years in the fatal stabbing of an employee at the Irish Pub in Atlantic City, and serious injuring another in 2009. The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office announced that Martinez will have to serve at least 85 percent of the sentence before parole becomes an option. He will also be subject to five years in parole.
