NEW WOMAN REPORTED WITH FUNGAL MENINGITIS

Add another one to the list. Yet another woman has been charged with Fungal Meningitis. State health officials report that a 48-year-old Cumberland County woman is recovering at the South Jersey Healthcare Regional Medical Center. The disease has been linked to a tainted steroid injection. The disease isn’t one that can be given person-to-person. This marks the 13th case in the state.
