You will need to vacate the barrier islands earlier on Sunday than initially reported. Gov. Chris Christie announced the new evacuation time has been set for 4 p.m. on Sunday. Initially, residents were told 9 p.m. Roads will likely be barricaded by police, not allowing anyone in or out of the barrier communities once that 4 p.m. deadline comes and goes.
