A wide majority supported Gov. Chris Christie for reelection, even though they think he is running for president in 2016. A Rutgers-Eagleton poll says that 59 percent of state voters believe that Christie will run for president in 2016, which in effect means he would leave his job early as governor. Voters don’t believe his attitude will go over well on the national stage however.
