NEW POLL SAYS STATE RESIDENTS DIDN’T HIT THE SHORE AS MUCH THIS SUMMER

A new poll says that state residents didn’t come to the shore as much as previous years. The Monmouth University/Asbury Park Press poll says that about 40% say they spent less time at the shore this year, where only 9% say they spent more. Nearly half of the people who spent less time at the shore noted that the expectation that some businesses would not be open after the storm was a factor.
