NEW MONITOR FOR PLEASANTVILLE SCHOOL DISTRICT

On Tuesday the N.J. Department of Education announced that a new full-time fiscal monitor will be installed in the Pleasantville school district in September. The district has been having financial problems and the new monitor will address those issues found by a state audit. Problems include irregularities in timesheets, a costly mentoring program, and lack of financial oversight.
