The state’s brand new legislative map is expected to be wrapped up before the end of the weekend. A deadline arrives on Sunday for officials to develop the new map which will set the boundaries for the various legislative districts. Much of the attention is being paid in North Jersey where the population lies in the Garden State; however, our first legislative district could very well experience big changes. There are rumors that parts of Cumberland County in our district may be sacrificed for parts of Atlantic County.
