NEW LAW COULD EFFECT GOLD BUYING IN LOWER TOWNSHIP

Gold shops take note…you may soon have to hold any product you bring in. Lower Township has passed an ordinance on first reading that would create a 10 day holding period for purchases made by the gold shop. They would have to hold onto the product during that time before anything can be done with it. Councilman Walt Craig told Coastal Broadcasting that there are concerns with of stolen items and it would give police a chance to ensure that those items could be returned to their rightful owner.
