NEW JERSEY’S UNEMPLOYMENT RATE DIPS SLIGHTLY

6.5 percent..that’s the new unemployment rate in the State of New Jersey which shows a one tenth of one percent decline in the jobless rate.  Public sector employment improved by 6,700 jobs thanks in large part to schools who hired for the school year.  The leisure and hospitality industry dropped 8,700 jobs.
