The tax revenue for New Jersey has slowly come back to form. Pew Charitable Trusts show that since the recession, New Jersey’s tax revenue is the sixth slowest to recover. The $7.5 billion that was collected from July to September of last year, is 11.4 percent behind the same time period in 2008. New Jersey is one of 10 states where there is a double digit drop versus the highs of 2008.
