NEW JERSEY UNEMPLOYMENT RATE REMAINS STEADY DESPITE JOB LOSS

New Jersey’s unemployment rate remained steady at 4.1 percent last month despite the loss of 14,000 jobs from the private sector.  The State added 900 public sector jobs to help make up the difference in the job loss.
