New Jersey’s jobless rate climbed during the month of February. New figures released by the state put the unemployment rate in New Jersey at 9.2 percent, which is a one tenth of one percent increase from January. State officials say the rate went up become some residents are just discouraged from finding new employment. New Jersey was able to add about 7,500 jobs last month, and experts believe the rate will begin to come down.
