A Monmouth County municipality is thinking about creating a list of people that would keep salespeople from visiting. Red Bank officials are looking at a “do-not-knock” proposal, according to a report by the Asbury Park Press. This would allow residents to be able to put themselves on this list, similar to the do-not-call list for telemarketers. When a sales person got a license, they would get a list of homes they would not be able to visit.
