State lawmakers in Trenton will consider a brand new proposal that could result in advertising signs being placed on toll plazas on the three main toll roads in the Garden State. Assembly Speaker Shelia Oliver will consider posting a measure for a full vote that would permit businesses to advertise their products and services on busy toll plazas on the Garden State Parkway, New Jersey Turnpike, and Atlantic City Expressway. Supporters of the measure say it’s a way for the state to increase revenue without increasing tolls.
