A 24-year old soldier from New Jersey was killed this week in Afghanistan. The Department of Defense has identified four of the nine troops who were killed during a helicopter crash. 24 year old Petty Officer 3rd Class Denis Miranda of Toms River was among those killed. Miranda was assigned to a SEAL team. It was the worst helicopter crash in Afghanistan in four years.
