New Jersey Senator Robert Menendez today called for major league baseball players to boycott the 2011 All Star game, which is scheduled to be played in July, 2011 in Arizona. Menendez, one of the two democratic senators from New Jersey, is upset over Arizona’s new laws that crack down on illegal immigrants. Menendez says the new laws codify racial profiling, and that 27 percent of all major league baseball players are Latinos.
