Mobster Nicky Scarfo is dead. Scarfo died over the weekend at a North Carolina prison at the age of 87. Scarfo’s home base was in Philadelphia and Atlantic City, and at one time he was one of the most influential mobsters in the United States. Scarfo was in prison for a half century for various murder and racketeering charges.
