Some mixed news on the labor front in New Jersey. The state’s unemployment rate fell to 7.3 percent in December, which is a decrease of about a half point. However the number of jobs actually decreased by over 36,000 during that month as well. Most of the job loss was reported in the private sector in the Garden State.
