NEW JERSEY FINDS OUT ABOUT "RACE TO TOP" TODAY

New Jersey could receive up to $400 million if they win the federal “Race to the Top” program today. The announcement will be made about which of the 19 states will win the dollars. The state made application for school dollars, which will also call for some reforms in the state’s education system. Grants dollars could be handed out to up to 15 of the applicants.
