NEW JERSEY AMONG WORST STATES AT KEEPING STUDENTS IN-STATE FOR COLLEGE

New Jersey doesn’t have the room to keep its students in-state. In an article published in the Washington Post, looking at all of the states, New Jersey has the worst percentage of available space in its colleges versus the number of graduating high school students. Only 63 percent of students stay in state in New Jersey. The state would need to increases its capacity by 44 percent to have enough room for all of those students.
