The Cape May County Department of Health has scheduled new dates for residents to get a free flu vaccine during November and December.
– November 10 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Avalon Community Center Disability Awareness Event, 3001 Avalon Ave, Avalon
– November 14 from 3-5 p.m. at the Department of Health (6 Moore Rd, bldg #17, CMCH)
– December 5 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Cape May County Library, Main Branch (30 W. Mechanic St, CMCH)
– December 12 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Department of Health (6 Moore Rd, bldg #17, CMCH)
While supplies last, the FluMist nasal spray vaccine will be offered in addition to the injectable vaccine at these clinics. The high-dose vaccine for seniors and the pneumonia vaccine will be offered at the November 14th and December 12th clinics held at the Department of Health. Seniors who want the high-dose vaccine need to bring their Medicare and supplemental insurance cards to the clinic.
