Several new November dates have been announced for Cape May County residents to get a free flu shot. All of these clinics will be held at the Department of Health, located at 6 Moore Road in Cape May Court House (Exit 11 off of the Garden State Parkway).
On November 3rd there will be a free flu clinic for children 6 months through 18 years of age and their families from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. “When you vaccinate children, they sometimes need extra attention, which is why we like to hold clinics specifically for the children,” said Health Officer Kevin Thomas. “We welcome all the kids and their families at the ‘Children and their Families’ clinic on November 3rd. “I’d also like to remind parents of small children that anyone 6 months up to 5 years of age who attends a licensed daycare or preschool must receive a flu shot by the end of December to continue attendance in January,” added Thomas.
Three additional flu clinic dates have been set for residents of all ages to get a flu shot.
