The Atlantic City Convention and Visitors Authority has chosen a new firm to run it’s facilities for the next five years. The authority announced on Thursday that Global Spectrum, a subsidiary of Comcast-Spectacor, will begin running operations early next year. The firm is based in Philadelphia and operates venues in 100 cities across the country, Canada, and other countries. Global Spectrum will be responsible for event production, maintenance and labor relations at the Atlantic City Convention enter, Boardwalk Hall and West Hall. A final contract with the company will be ratified in the next few weeks.
