A new law change will effect Graduated Drivers’ License holders. As of May 1, any teen with a permit or probationary license will not be allowed to drive after 11 p.m. and before 5 a.m. They will also not be allowed to use a cell-phone in their vehicle, even if it is hands free. Also a decal must be placed on the vehicle’s license plate that they are driving, to allow law enforcement with an easier way to enforce rules against these drivers. The decals are being sold at the Motor Vehicle Commission for $4. The decals must be placed on vehicles of people driving under the age of 21.
