NEW ATHLETIC DIRECTOR STARTING AT WILDWOOD HIGH SCHOOL

A new Athletic Director has been selected for Wildwood High School and will assume the office this week. The Wildwood Leader reports that 32 year-old Travis LaFerriere was chosen to replace Phil Schaffer, who was recently promoted to principal from the AD position. LaFerriere was approved last week as Wildwood High’s new athletic director and assistant vice principal for discipline. He currently resides in Millville, taught science at Pittsgrove Township Middle School and was the head baseball coach at Schalick High School for eight years. LaFerriere is a 2001 graduate of Millville High School, where he played baseball and soccer at a high level.
