NEW ALIMONY BILL IN NEW JERSEY SIGNED BY CHRISTIE

New alimony laws are coming to the Garden State. Governor Chris Christie signed into law a new bill that revamps the alimony laws in New Jersey which have been seen as ancient and out of date. Among the changes: Marriages that last fewer than 20 years result in alimony payments that cannot exceed the length of the marriage, and judges can lower payments if the payer has been out of work for 90 days.
