NEARLY 20 HEROIN DEATHS IN CAPE MAY COUNTY THIS YEAR

The enforcement and education of heroin use has been stepped up in recent months. Cape May County Prosecutor Robert Taylor tells 987 The Coast that there have been 19 deaths and 85 overdoses in Cape May County since the beginning of the year. A number of high profile busts have taken place recently, including a month long campaign in Wildwood during Aug. Taylor says education is important, and noted that he will be in Lower Township next week for a drug education seminar. Cape May County recently held a seminar as well on the drug’s dangers.
