It is expected to be a very difficult morning for travel in our coastal communities in Cape May County. High tide is coming in, and the National Weather Service predicts the potential of moderate to major coastal flooding in barrier islands. High tide at the Townsend’s Inlet Bridge between Sea Isle City and Avalon is at 7:17am today; flooding is expected during this evening’s high tide and Sunday morning as well.
