A heat warning has been issued for today with temperatures expected to as high as 97 and the heat index could reach 105. The warning has been issued from noon to 5 p.m. today. The warning says that a cold front will move into the area this evening which will push some of the heat out and make temperatures more reasonable. It is suggested that people drink lots of fluids and stay out of the sun today.
