A veteran NASCAR driver was killed last night during a race at the Bridgeport Speedway in Logan Township. Jason Leffler was killed when his small sprint car flipped several times on the front straightaway of the racetrack. New Jersey State Police confirm that the 37 year old Leffler was killed in the accident. Leffler has been a veteran of NASCAR’s Nationwide and Sprint Cup circuits. He became only the third driver in history to win three consecutive USAC midget championships.
